Actives
Actives are girls that have completed the pledging process and are in good standing with their chapter. They have full rights in the sorority. Omega Phi Alpha is home to many young women from diverse backgrounds. Through their love of service, they have come together as a sisterhood at the University of Mississippi. Each semester, our sisterhood completes at least one service projects in these six areas:
University-community Projects that address issues affecting students, benefit anyone or any organization on campus, and improve any aspect of university life.
Community at Large Projects that enhance the community surrounding the university or benefit citizens in the area.
Nations of the World Projects that aid in world causes and address issues that affect the people of the world.
Members of the Sorority Projects that contribute to the betterment of sisters in the sorority. This is not limited to just the local chapter.
National President's Project Each year, the National President chooses a project for the sorority to focus on. This year, our President's Project will focus on money management and financial planning.
National Permanent Project The National Permanent Project, Mental Health, was chosen by Nationals. We assist with any project that aids in awareness or benefits anyone that is in contact with mental health issues.
