About Our Chapter
Alpha Beta Chapter of Omega Phi Alpha was founded January 25, 2003, by 17 service-minded young women at the University of Mississippi who wanted to make a difference in their community and the world around them. When looking for a way to do so, Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority was acknowledged and chosen to be the right fit for the University of Mississippi and for the founding girls. There are chapters of Omega Phi Alpha all around the country and we are proud to be represented with a chapter at Ole Miss. Our members strive to better the lives of others by volunteering in many different areas. Our chapter mascot is the penguin!
